Ebediri Starch
Designed for food and industrial applications
Our native cassava starch gives manufacturers a reliable, locally produced ingredient they can count on.
With consistent quality and industrial-scale production, we help businesses access high-quality starch while supporting locally sourced Nigerian cassava.
Locally grown. Industrially processed. Built for scale.
From Farm to Factory
Building an inclusive, resilient cassava supply chain
Our backward-integration programme connects industrial cassava processing with the communities that produce our raw material. Through the Mastercard Foundation-supported WISE programme, we work with 7,000 women farmers, including persons with disabilities, strengthening farmer participation, market access and the reliability of cassava supply to industry.
By linking farmers more directly to processing and markets, Ebedebiri is building a stronger local supply chain while creating the foundation for long-term industrial growth.

Empowering Women Through Agriculture
Women play a vital role in Nigeria’s agricultural communities, particularly in the cultivation, processing, and distribution of cassava. At Ebedebiri Starch Company, we are committed to creating opportunities that enable more women to participate meaningfully in the cassava value chain.

Farmers, workers, group leaders — not just beneficiaries.
Lead farmers are developed through a training-of-trainers approach, so knowledge cascades through every group. Training covers Good Agricultural Practices, climate-smart and regenerative agriculture, business and entrepreneurship, and leadership and group dynamics.

Why Partner with us?
From our processing facility in Bayelsa State, we combine industrial-scale production with an integrated local cassava supply network to deliver consistent, high-quality starch for food and industrial applications.
As we expand into higher-value cassava-based ingredients, we are building long-term partnerships with customers, suppliers and technology partners across Nigeria and international markets.

Made in Nigeria
Creating more value locally.
Nigeria has the agricultural resources to supply substantially more of the ingredients used by its own industries. We believe those resources should increasingly be processed into higher-value products within Nigeria. Ebedebiri’s ambition is to contribute to that transition.

Ebedebiri’s roots are local, but our ambition is much larger. We are building an industrial platform capable of connecting cassava grown in Nigerian communities with manufacturers in Nigeria and, increasingly, across the region.
